Forget about your bad holes — only scores of par or better earn points. Pars are worth one point and birdies two. It removes the sting of blow-up holes and rewards consistent play and clutch putting.

Make as many pars and birdies as possible. Bogeys and worse are simply ignored.

Par = 1 pt. Birdie = 2 pts. Eagle = 3 pts. Bogey or worse = 0 pts. Most points wins.
