Win holes instead of strokes.
The original way to play competitive golf. Each hole is a separate contest — lowest score wins the hole. The match is scored by holes won, not total strokes. A match can end early when one player is up by more holes than remain.
Win more holes than your opponent. If you're up by more than the remaining holes, the match is over.
Win a hole = 1 up. Lose a hole = 1 down. Tied holes = halved. Most holes up at 18 wins.
$10-$50 per match. Press bets optional.
